Our Chief Operating Officer
As the Chief Operating Officer for Housing Diversity Corporation (HDC), Ben oversees day-to-day internal operations for HDC and all of its projects and chairs the leadership committee. Ben focuses on increasing delivery velocity and project value by focusing on the efficiency of back-office operations.
Ben was drawn to HDC after realizing its potential to bring a new product to the marketplace that tackles the housing crisis head-on. HDC’s ambitious goal of 20,000 homes in the ‘20s is equal parts challenging and exciting.
An economist by education, Ben has long seen real estate’s massive potential for impact. His Master’s thesis focused on the economic impact of vacation homeownership on rural economies. Ben has spent most of his career in Management Consulting, focusing on Marketing and Sales Strategy, and has also worked as a Senior Global Real Estate Analyst for Starbucks.
An East Coast native, Ben moved to Seattle over ten years ago. When he is not expanding the HDC portfolio, you’ll probably find him out for a run, playing pickleball or racquetball, playing golf with his kids, or playing with his enormous puppy dog.
